Gurmán na Slovensku was created at the initiative of several individuals working in restaurants in Bratislava, who aimed to elevate gastronomy, which at that time was not focused on modern cooking methods and new directions. It was still relying on traditional recipes that had been cooked for decades and were long outdated.
Ranking of restaurants at the Gurmán Award 2023 announced and awarded by the Gurmán in Slovakia, according to the average of the sum of the evaluations of the expert evaluators of the Gourmet in Slovakia and the gourmet public. Relevant assessments until March 2024.
After years of working and gaining experience in top restaurants in Belgium, Austria, and England, Daniel Tilinger returned to Slovakia. He currently leads the fine dining restaurant ECK in Bratislava’s Devín, which quickly became one of the best restaurants in Slovakia.
