MATÚŠ HAMARA
Matúš was born on August 13, 1981, he was a happy and always smiling child. Two years later, his sister Zuzana joined him, with whom he had a warm sibling relationship. He had a great talent for reciting poetry and prose. He studied piano, at which he could spend hours and together with singing, music carried with him for seventeen years. He studied at the conservatory, led a choir in the church and even recorded a CD. Later, he moved to the hotel industry, and it was there that his relationship with the sommelier profession began to take shape. His success and love of wine eventually led him to the Kempinski Hotel. He loved his work, contact with people, passion and enthusiasm for this profession radiated from him. Few people could talk about wine as engagingly as Matúš. Thanks to this work, he traveled and met new people, from whom he not only learned about wine, but also found new friendships that meant a lot to his big heart. However, his greatest happiness came in 2006, when his son Christián was born. Matúš loved people, good food, wine and, above all, his family.
